Round Face? Some Tips!

One of the best things about having a rounded facial shape is that just about any hairstyle looks beautiful on you as long as it frames your face! The rounded face shape has been popular with designers, movie producers, and the public for decades! Thelma Todd of 1940s film is one example! There are, of course, little tricks to stretching this wonderful feature to be even more flattering! Try some of the ideas here and send us some pictures soon!

Flattering Choices:

Heightened hairstyles to elongate the face are a good choice!

Updos with curls atop your crown draw your face upwards, making it more oval-shaped!

V-neck shirts over a layered tank top elongates your neckline.

Frame your face with curled or even whispy straight tendrils.  This will make you appear more feminine and gives your face a softer look!

Toussle your hair with mousse and hairspray after washing to give added volume; it's great for updos, having your hair down, or even with a ponytail.  Contrast!

Less Flattering Choices:

Refrain from slicking your hair back into an onion!  It is not a style that flatters many faces and it doesn't spell h'o'l'i'n'e's's!

If you have thin hair, don't leave the house without adding some volume with rollers or mousse or at least securing a pentecostal bump!

Don't part your hair down the middle; it divides your face, making it appear wider.

Condition your hair, ensuring you don't have frizzy locks that radiate from your scalp!  Don't be a walking orb!
